Help your neighbors in southeast Kansas
Southeast Kansas Services at Catholic Charities provides assistance as a means of keeping people in their homes while helping them learn how to manage their daily needs. We serve people in an 11-county area of Southeast Kansas who are the working poor, unemployed or who have been unable to work because of disability or illness, or those receiving fixed incomes or limited government assistance.
Our focus is on preventing the situation from worsening and guiding individuals and families towards goals that meet their daily needs.
Charitable contributions help us cover operational costs not covered by grant funds while also providing additional client assistance dollars that aid in homeless prevention and household stabilization through one-time assistance with rent or utilities.
All contributions made in support of Southeast Kansas Services stay in Southeast Kansas to help people living in an 11-county area.

Two ways to donate
Prospective donors have two options for sharing in the work that Catholic Charities does in the areas of homelessness and domestic violence within an 11-county area of Southeast Kansas.
1. Addressing Immediate Needs
Donations made directly to Catholic Charities, through appeals, recurring gifts or planned giving, assist with immediate needs, including day-to-day costs and client assistance.
To make this type of donation, donate online below or mail your check made payable to “Catholic Charities” to 417 N. Broadway, Suite B, Pittsburg, KS 66762. To inquire about recurring gifts or planned giving, please contact our development team at giving@CatholicCharitiesWichita.org.
2. Long-term Stability
Contributions to the Catholic Charities Endowed Fund at the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas (CFSEK) are investments in the future; investments that will create a long-term, consistent revenue stream supporting the future needs of Catholic Charities in Southeast Kansas.
To help grow the Catholic Charities Endowed Fund, go online to the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas’ donate page (https://southeastkansas.org/donate); scroll down to the “Public, Societal Benefit” section and select “Catholic Charities Endowed Fund,” then follow the instruction to complete your online gift.
