Jesus Christ made it clear throughout His public ministry that He came into this world not to be served, but to serve others. Through His words and by His powerful example, He calls each of us to do the same. Together, We are There stabilizing and empowering people experiencing poverty, abuse, homelessness or living with disability.
Catholic Charities offers social services across a 25-county region in south-central and southeast Kansas. Last year we served 16,419 children and adults – a 21 percent increase from the previous year. Each month, more people have requested assistance from Catholic Charities for food, mental health and housing support.
The many ministries of Catholic Charities work throughout south central and southeast Kansas with the common goal of stabilizing and empowering individuals and families.
