Services and Fees

The following services are included in the daily fees paid by program participants:

  • Group and individual activities – program participants help select and plan the activities that will enrich their lives and promote socialization, dignity and independence.
  • Community outings – recreational and educational outings and activities within the community, when such outings are safe for our participants.
  • Education programs – onsite and in the community to help participants reach their highest potential.
  • Nursing services and care coordination – an on-site nurse assists with medications, health assessments and referrals.
  • Hot meals and snacks – two nutritious hot meals and an afternoon snack are provided each day designed to meet each participant’s dietary needs and restrictions.
  • Transportation – The round-trip transportation fee for off-campus activities during the day is $2.50. Transportation to and from campus each day may be available for an additional fee for those who qualify.

Fees and Assistance

Adult Day Services at Catholic Charities is a non-profit organization. The fee for each day of service is $82, with a minimum of two days per week required to assure continuity of care.

For persons who are without funding or insurance, a sliding fee scale is available for those who demonstrate financial need. The sliding fee scale is made possible through the generosity of the Sedgwick County Mill Levy, as well as charitable contributions. On average, persons who are eligible for the sliding fee scale pay $26 a day.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027), and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. To request a copy of the complaint form, call (866) 632-9992. Submit your completed form or letter to USDA by:
